An Arrangement of Love @KenyaWright77

arrangement
An Arrangment of Love 1
Title: An Arrangement of Love
Author: Kenya Wright
Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance and New Adult
Publisher: K. Wright Press
Cover Artist: Najla Qambar

He kissed me. And not just any kiss. He kissed me like he owned me, as if he bought me last night and my orgasm was the payment. His tongue didn’t explore my mouth instead it taunted me, gliding in and out between my lips in a rhythm that reminded me of hot sex. He shifted his hand to the back of my head and trapped me to him. My bag and its contents dropped to the floor. . .

What would you do for six figures?

Billionaire Chase Stone offers Jasmine a six-figure job that requires a full-time commitment in his office as well as his bed. If only she knew that before she agreed, then life would’ve been easier. It’s not that he’s unattractive. Jasmine just didn't graduate from Harvard with honors so she could be some rich guy's over paid mistress. What’s even more repulsing is that he lives with three women and wants her to be the fourth.

Not going to happen!
But Chase won't give up, and Jasmine won't give in. Someone's going to have to change because the more they meet, the more something thick, hot, and electric bridges between them, until neither can breathe or think.

An Arrangement of Love hits the spot, as a book lover it takes a lot of my to get engrossed in a book i will read it until I'm done (even if that involves using sleep time to make it happen). I am book on this series, once i hit 89% and realize theres no way its finished soon i knew i wasn't going to like the end, and i was right…because it goes into book two.

Jasmine has your stereotypical background, black girl from the projects, doesn't know her father, tons of siblings in jail and supporting her mother. The one thing that people tend to forget in this stereotype is with hard work and perseverance a lot of men and women like Jasmine get out of that and make better situations for themselves. A Harvard grad Jasmine gets the opportunity of a life time to work for hottie Chase Stone. From chapter one you become captivated into their story, nothing you would imagine hits you with each line. I can normally guess whats going to take place in a book within the first chapter and though i had some guesses on some situations, i was taken by surprise with a lot more.

I like Jasmine, i want to be her friend, but i also am worried about the arrangement she entered. Nothing about it specks good except the forth night. Jasmine and her best friend Vivian are like sisters, they remind me of my sister and i with their one liners and ability to know each other. One of my favorite things of theirs is their VIB test which i will be stealing.

"Each time i met someone i gave them the V.I.B. test. Vivian coined the term for vibrator, ice cream and book test. Basically, if i would rather spend time at night at home with my vibrator, a pint of Ben and Jerry's chunky monkey ice cream and a steamy romance novel, then he'd failed the V.I.B test."

Some of Jasmines insecurities i understood.

"I was the black new girl. I shook the thought away. Stop that. I had a tendency to be insecure when it came to race, always wondering if people were judging me used on bad stereotypes and if i was confirming those stereotypes"

Some things are hard to put into words, racism sometimes can be but Kenya managed to get that across in ways i have never been able to. Now don't think because I'm so in love with the characters the romance isn't there. Some scenes were so hot i needed to take a mental five minute break to be able to continue. Like all relationships its a tangled web that man only gets tangled more and more.
I have my guesses on whose POV the epilogue is from, i feel it has to be Dawn but a part of me doesn't want to discount Wendy. Great book, great chemistry, hot scenes, and a whole lotta drama!

Book Two is called A Test of Love

kenyaKenya Wright always knew she would be famous since the ripe old age of six when she sang the Michael Jackson thriller song in her bathroom mirror. She has tried her hand at many things from enlisting in the Navy for six years as a Persian-Farsi linguist to being a nude model at an art university.

However, writing has been the only constant love in her life. Will she succeed? Of course.
For she has been coined The Urban Fantasy Queen, the Super Iconic Writer of this Age, The Lyrical Genius of Our Generation. Granted, these are all terms coined by her, within the private walls of her bathroom as she still sings the Michael Jackson thriller song.

Kenya Wright currently resides in Miami with her three amazing, overactive children, a supportive, gorgeous husband, and three cool black cats that refuse to stop sleeping on Kenya’s head at night.

Their's To Play by @Kenyawright77

Genre: Adult Contemporary Erotic Romance
Heat Level: Steamy
Page Count: 200
Type: all ebook formats
Publisher: Self
Series: Billionaire Games #1

Two billionaire brothers enjoy twisted games where women are the sport. They find a female, date her, and compete to see who can bed her first.

Too bad they picked the wrong one this time. Dawn's too smart for their verbal play and too quick to get trapped by clever ploys.

The more the brothers work to capture her heart, the more they discover she might not be theirs to play.

Two brothers with more money than most and nothing to do but make wagers meet their match one sunny day on South Beach. Being someone who knows what a sunny day on south beach is like, i can so believe the entire first three chapters. Dawn is a prospective law student whose spending her time prepping for school, two months early. Max and Freddy spoiled brothers who make a game out of bedding women.

She rubbed her hands together. “So I’m your game for tonight?”

“No, Dawn.” Hunger laced my brother's Freddy’s voice. It was the subtle change in his tone that happened right before he decided to take a woman to his bed. “You’re the game for this summer.”

Her expression didn’t break, never faltered or changed. She leaned in closer to him and licked her lips. I could’ve sworn I heard Freddy growl or maybe I’d done it myself. Her confidence did something to me, it lassoed my senses in, made me want to touch my dick and do nasty things.

“If you think you can last the whole summer with me involved in your little game, then you’re not as smart as I thought. Are you Freddy?” She moved in closer. Her breast hovered beautifully over the table. Her face was half a foot from his.

Freddy gripped the table so hard; I could see the whites forming around his fingertips. “You like saying my nickname don’t you?”

“Yes.”

“Get used to it, you’ll be moaning it soon.”

“Hmm. You’ll have to earn a moan from me, sweet Freddy. You’re not the first rich guy I’ve met and you won’t be the last.” She sat back in her seat.

Normally when a book has multiple POV my main concern is the confusion of speech. Whose speaking from sentence to sentence. Kenya Wright does well in breaking down whose specking in each live in Theirs To Play. From the beginning i want one brother to win over the other. You see in his speech he's over the game and captivated by Dawn. As Max and Freddy work out past issues with each other and addictions Dawn is overcoming her own past. I love the chemistry between two of them. Knowing a bet brought the boys to this point its only a matter of time before it blows up in their face. And that it does. I enjoy this read and am captivated on how book two will explain more of the Caden situation. Reading the last chapter, more the last sentence in the end of the book you can't help but cover your face and hope Max isn't as stupid as you think he's going to be.

Hot Redemption by K.D. Penn Tour

Title: Hot Redemption
Author: K.D. Penn (pseudonym for Kenya Wright and D.T. Dyllin)
Genre: Cyberpunk Erotic Romance
Publisher: Dragonfairy Press
Expected publication: July 2013

Blurb:
Epic and his brothers don’t rob strip clubs for fun or fame, but to use the electric currency to take care of their family. With androids and robots flooding the job market, it’s almost impossible for humans to find work. Besides, stealing comes easy to the gang, until Phoenix steps into their lives, snatching away their bounty and fogging up Epic’s mind with her seductive scent.

Shots blare. A chase ensues. Both sides refuse to yield. And the small compromise that comes is brought by chains and a promise for a bigger hit—on a planet far away from earth.

Can Epic and Phoenix work together to rescue themselves from poverty?

Or will they find another type of redemption, one lathered in lust and warmth, pleasure, and the type of undemanding love that no human can live without?
HOTTTTT, is the perfect thing to put in this title!
Hot Redemption is/was so much more than what i expected, not normally a fan of sci-fi type novels i was apprehensive on how i would like this book to my norms.
It exceeded my expectations!

You follow the story of Epic, his family and an independent woman named Pheonix.

Epic and Nix are damaged souls attempting to make their way around the planets with their heads above water and their hearts in tact. Each with their own past that shapes who they've become, the story follows their present and where their future will take them.

K.D. Penn combined put together such an inspiring story on love, lost, addiction, fear and the thin line between right and wrong.

Learning about the family, triplets, Shades rod and an over protected sister, you cant help but want more.

I enjoyed Epic and Nix, they have a very love and hate relationship. My heart constantly goes out to Epic as the head of the family and brains behind "family business", he was never given the chance to be a kid and enjoy life. Maybe because i understand that world or because KD Penn wrote such a descriptive view for readers to enjoy.

From the first chapter to the last you have chemistry, action, love and a whole lot of sarcasm! lol my favorite combination!
